Maryland BOE oks anti-bullying policy

The first Maryland policy to stop bullying in public schools was approved Tuesday by the Maryland State Board of Education. Maryland’s Model Anti-Bullying, Harrassment and Intimidation Policy creates a definition of bullying and requires each school system to submit a copy of its anti-bullying policies to the state superintendent by July 1.
