I don't think it's fair to call this a "bullying" of homosexuals. The curriculum in question is meant for Kindergartners. There would be similar objections if schools were teaching these kids about proper condom-use in a heterosexual context.

As a student of M.M Robinson High School, I would have to say that "gummering" grade 9 students is not a suprise. In fact, it happens every year, by an insignificant handful of older male bullies. This IS NOT who M.M Robinson Students are. Our School is filled with smart, athletic and helpful students who don't deserve to be classified with this 1% of bullies. So please do not make up random facts about what happened to these grade 9 students or judge our school based on this hazing. We do not deserve that. Thank you. - Nicole Grade 10.

What an incredible site you have put together. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I too am passionate about teaching kids to copy with bullying-type situations. As a professional storyteller and author, I have a "Be Bully Free" program that I offer to elementary schools for a negotiable rate (see website link above). I spent 5 years teaching conflict resolution techniques to middle school students until a budget-cut eliminated most of the school's special programs. I also regularly post many of these articles and and stories about bullying and conflict resolution for free. If you would like more information, feel free to e-mail me.
Best Wishes to you,
Debbie Dunn

I believe she should be charged under the law. It was unnecessary for what she did and that she is 40, not 14.

I strongly believe that this case will have a great impact on the way a blog is written from now on. The debate resides firmly on whether an individual feels that they can go above and beyond objective criticism and have their anonymity preserved.
In this case, going above and beyond appears to have been done in a vicious enough manner so that the judge involved had make an example of Rosemary Port, to curb this kind of hide and seek (behind Google) defamation happening again. Rosemary in turn should be glad that Liskula Cohen opted to take no further action. This all begs the question whether Rosemary undertook her anonymous blog in order to avoid a potential defamation case to protect her wallet. Now Port has managed to get away from this case with little or no financial burden, her case against Google could damage the relationship between blog writer's and Google in the future. Surely we all have to show some common sense in the way we express our opinions, and the legal obligations of the companies we work through.
